Renter qualifications

Rates are for renters 25 or older. A valid Canadian or US drivers license and a major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick up. Renter must provide proof of transferable collision coverage valid in Canada at pickup.

Payment options

Credit Cards This location accepts AmEx, MasterCard, Diners Club & Visa. No other cards accepted. Minimum available limit must be 500.00 CAD on credit card. Debit Cards are not accepted.

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Driver Fee Additional driver fee 3.95 CAD/day. Young Driver Fee Renters age 21-24 will be subject to a 4.95 CAD/day underage surcharge. No drivers under the age of 21 permitted.

Geographic restrictions

Unlimited kilometers offered only for Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Travel to Ontario, Quebec, and New England states requires 25.00 CAD/day surcharge.

Local renter requirements

Local Renters No additional restrictions. Same as Air Arriving customers.

Shuttle service

Discount Car and Truck Rentals is the ACE vehicle provider in Charlottetown. ACE Rent a Car is a short shuttle ride from the terminal. Upon arrival call Discount at 902-566-3213 from pay phone located to the left of luggage carousel. A Discount employee will meet you at this location.
