Renter qualifications

Rates are for renters 25 years or older. A valid drivers license and a major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick-up. International drivers must have a valid drivers license from country of residence and passport. Proof of AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE that will transfer to/and cover a rental car in the US. Without proof of auto insurance, driver must purchase insurance at counter.

Payment options

Credit Card This location accepts AmEx, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Discover, MasterCard & Visa. No other cards accepted. Debit Card Debit cards accepted with additional $200.00 deposit. Pre-Paid Cards We do not accept Pre-Paid cards. Advance Deposit on specialty vehicles A $100.00 deposit is required on 12 and 15 Passenger Vans. The location will contact you by phone for credit card information to secure reservation. Cancellation needed 48 hours in advance for refund.

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Driver Fee Additional driver fee 5.00/day. Young Driver Fee Renters age 21-24 will be subject to a 25.00/day underage surcharge.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles restricted to the state of Florida. Vehicles are never allowed into Mexico or Canada. If restrictions are not met client may be charged from the first mile driven from the rental station

Local renter requirements

Local Renter: Florida residents receive 150 miles/day, 1050 miles/week with .25 for each addl mile and are required to pay $150 deposit at pickup.

Shuttle service

ACE Rent a Car is a short shuttle ride from the terminal. On arrival from baggage claim using courtesy phone call 813-287-1872 for shuttle. Proceed from baggage claim area thru Red Doors 1 or 2 or Blue Doors 1 or 2 to ground transportation on circular drive.

After hours drop-off

Please return your vehicle to A-1 Express Airport Parking located 1/4 mile from our office. Please leave the key with the attendant and take the A-1 shuttle to the airport. They are open 24 hours a day. There is a $10 fee for after hours drop off. You will not pay A-1 Express. We add it to your contract upon closing the contract when we pick up the rental car. You will be given the address and phone number for A-1 when you pick up the vehicle.
