Renter qualifications

Rates are for renters 25 years or older. A valid drivers license and a major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick up.

Payment options

Credit Cards This location accepts AmEx, Discover, Diners Club, Mastercard & Visa. No other cards accepted. An authorization for the estimated total plus an additional 250.00 will be required at rental. Debit Cards Renter must be 25 or older. Only Economy, Compact or Intermediate size cars can be rented. An authorization for the estimated total plus an additional 250.00 will be required at rental. Damage waiver is optional with proof of insurance. Without proof of insurance, it must be purchased for 19.95/day, 500.00 deductible. Prepaid Cards Not accepted

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Drivers Additional driver fee 7.00 per day - No additional driver under age 25 allowed. Young Drivers Renters age 21-24 will be subject to a 10.00 per day underage surcharge and may only rent Economy, Compact, and Intermediate cars. Young drivers must have a major credit card. Debit cards are not accepted from drivers under 25 years of age.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles may not be taken off the island of Puerto Rico.

Shuttle service

Charlie Car Rental will provide ACE car. Cruise ship pick-up service and return service are available free of charge everyday until 4pm. Call at 787-721-6525 for shuttle when you are OFF SHIP, we will send shuttle for pickup. We are located less than 5 minutes from all piers.
