Renter qualifications

Rates are for renter 25 years or older. A valid drivers license and a major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick up. Not all credit card insurances have coverage in Mexico. If you decline to purchase the CDW/LDW protection, you will be fully responsible for the value of the vehicle and additional liability insurance is mandatory at 9.00/day.

Payment options

This location accepts AmEx, MasterCard and Visa. No other cards accepted. Cash rentals required to be paid in full and a 300.00 USD refundable deposit. Debit card rentals accepted with a 200.00 USD refundable deposit. The purchase of SLI is mandatory on all rentals and is not included in the rental rates.

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Drivers Additional driver fee 10.00/day. Young Drivers Renters age 21-24 will be subject to a 15.00/day underage surcharge.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles cannot be driven outside of Mexico.

Shuttle service

Cactus Rent a Car is the ACE vehicle provider in San Jose del Cabo. During airport construction you will find Ace/Cactus representatives outside of the terminals. After hours drop-off

Please return your vehicle to our airport office where an ACE Rent A Car agent will be waiting to meet you. Our ACE Rent A Car shuttle will return you to the airport. You will be provided with a phone number to contact an agent if necessary.
