Renter qualifications

Rates are for renters 25 to 69 years. Renters must have a valid drivers license issued in their country of residence and have a minimum of five years accident free driving prior to rental. A major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick up. 3 day minimum rental.

Payment options

This location accepts AmEx, Diners Club, MasterCard, Access Card & Visa. No other cards accepted. A deposit of 50.00 Euro will secure reservation. At rental pick up the card will be charged the balance on your rental. Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to pickup will forfeit the deposit.

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Drivers Additional driver fee 7.00 EUR/day.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles are permitted to be driven into northern Ireland, but must be returned to the rental office in the Republic of Ireland. A cross border charge of 25.00 EUR will apply. Vehicles are not allowed to be driven outside the Island of Ireland.

Shuttle service

County Car Rental in Terminal is our ACE vehicle provider in Dublin. On arrival all renters must proceed to the County Car / ACE desk in the prebooked car hire area of the arrivals terminals. A shuttle service will also operate to take the renter to the rental office located in the Clarion Hotel on the airport complex 2 minutes from the terminal. Call 844-5689 if needed.

After hours drop-off

Proceed to County Depot at Dublin Airport Clarion Hotel. Park and lock vehicle in designated parking space in the side or rear Hotel Car Park. Leave keys at County Desk in Hotel. County Shuttle or Clarion Hotel Shuttle will bring renter to Airport Terminal. Clarion Hotel Shuttle runs every half hour 24 hours per day. Return vehicle at least 2 ½ hour prior to departure flight time. Return Locations are under Close Circuit TV Security.
