Renter qualifications

Rental Rates Rates are for renters 21-75 years old. A valid drivers license and a major credit card in the renter’s own name must be presented at time of pick up. Valid Drivers License All drivers must have held their drivers license for at least 2 years. Local Drivers Permit Government requires all persons to purchase a local drivers permit issued by our representatives on delivery of the vehicle at a cost of $5.00 USD.

Payment options

Major Credit Cards Accepted AmEx, MasterCard, Discover and Visa. Credit card will be charged the estimated total charge at pickup. No other cards accepted. Debit Cards Not Accepted

Young drivers and additional drivers

Additional Driver Fee $2.00 per day. Up to three (3) additional drivers permitted. Young Driver Fee None No one under the age of 21 years can rent or drive. No one over 75 years can rent or drive.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles Restricted to the Island of Barbados. Additional Restrictions Vehicles restricted to Government Roads only. No off road driving is permitted. Vehicles not allowed on any Beaches. Damages Any damages as a result of violating any of these restrictions will be the sole responsibility of the renter.

Local renter requirements

Local Renters No additional restrictions. Same as Air Arriving customers.

Shuttle service

Stoutes Car Rental is the ACE affiliate in Barbados. ACE is located outside arrival area. Proceed to counter outside the arrival area, on the left hand side.
