Alta Ski Area
Open since the late 1930s, Alta is the country's second oldest ski resort. Advanced skiers from around the world rave about Alta's steep powder fields and long, fast runs, especially the mile-long Crooked Mile and the high-speed Greeley Bowl. Beginners and intermediates are taken care of at Alta as well.

Bonneville Salt Flats
The Bonneville Salt Flats, which stretch out for some 30,000 acres, were formed when Lake Bonneville, a freshwater lake that once covered the entire state, evaporated. This vast plain is devoid of life. Each year, after winter floods dissipate, wind sweeps the briny surface until it's as smooth as glass.

Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort
Snowbird offers 882 lodging rooms between four lodging properties, a luxurious spa, a plethora of dining options, four-season activities and a staff dedicated to meeting your every need. Situated in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, this resort is a haven for advanced skiers. Its location ensures that it gets plentiful snow, and the powder is legendary.

The Gallivan Center
The John W. Gallivan Utah Center is furnished with an array of unique art projects, an amphitheater, an ice rink and pond, a huge outdoor chess board, and an aviary. The Center provides a focal point for the downtown crowd to gather for lunch. Special events such as exhibits, fairs, performances, parades and festivals take place here.
