For the winter outdoorsperson, the Huron area offers 73 miles of groomed snowmobile trails which extends way beyond its borders as it connects with other trail systems throughout the state. The Heartland Snowmobile Trail is groomed regularly pending snow conditions.

Outdoorsmen travel from as far away as Mexico to experience the excellent quality of hunting offered in the Huron area. Some of the best pheasant hunting in the nation can be found here. Pheasant hunting season opens mid October.
