Atlanta Intl Airport

Piedmont Park
This peaceful oasis is popular in busy Atlanta. Enjoy a picnic and an inspiring skyline view, or try out the wealth of leisure opportunities, including swimming, tennis, cycling, in-line skating, soccer, and football. You can even get a history lesson while you enjoy the great outdoors.

Six Flags Georgia
This great Atlanta amusement park offers fun for the entire family. With more than 100 rides and shows, it provides enough distractions for a day or even a whole weekend. The Mind Bender, the world's first triple-loop roller coaster, is a main attraction.

Stone Mountain Park
This 3200-acre Atlanta park surrounds the world's largest granite monolith – you can walk to the top or take a chairlift both ways. A park highlight (and its telltale feature) is a carving on the sheer rock mountainside that honors Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson.

The Compound
This Atlanta club is, indeed, a compound. Fashioned from a series of separate structures and linked by a minimalist courtyard that surrounds a reflecting pool, the fabulous place is comprised of several venues.

Turner Field
This brick-and-limestone ballpark was built for the 1996 Olympic Games and then revamped as Turner Field. The park, home of the Atlanta Braves, boasts modern facilities and plenty of extras, including interactive games, restaurants, a gift shop, and a museum and hall of fame (additional fee) with Hank Aaron memorabilia and other historical exhibits.
