Rental Genius is the most generous customer loyalty program in the car rental industry. Most programs
allow you to accumulate points for rental discounts and free rental days. A few programs allow you to
earn product awards of substantial value.
Rental Genius does both! Every qualifying rental earns you points towards gift certificates honored
at the most popular stores. At the same time, each qualifying rental helps you reach Genius levels that
give you instant discounts off future rentals without using up
any of your points!
Earning Points
You earn one point for each paid dollar of base rental charges for qualifying reservations made at acerentacar.com
for vehicles at participating ACE locations. Points are accumulated for rental time and mileage charges.
Points are not accumulated for taxes, fees, protection products, special equipment, and other optional
items. From time to time, ACE offers promotions that add bonus points to your account.
Points are credited to your account 8 days after the rental completes.
Points are valid for two years from the date each rental completes.
Redeeming Awards
ACE offers a variety of valuable gifts redeemable with as few as 750 Rental Genius points. To see the
list of currently available awards, please log on to your account at acerentacar.com. Then click on
the My Account link at the top of the page. The Rental Genius Awards Redemption section lists
all available awards.
Awards are issued within 7 days of the redemption request.

Instant Discounts apply only to normal retail rates and cannot be combined with other discount offers.
To see the available Instant Discounts, go to acerentacar.com and log on to your member account. Once
you are logged on, acerentacar.com will display any applicable Instant Discounts as you build your itinerary.
When you confirm your reservation, your confirmation includes the Instant Discount. Instant Discount
levels are determined by the base points from completed rentals. Bonus points are not used to
determine the Instant Discount level you qualify for.
No Blackout Dates
Points can be earned and Instant Discounts taken for any product available to the retail renting public
at participating locations. There are no blackout dates or vehicle type restrictions that limit when
you can enjoy the benefits of the Rental Genius program.
Other Terms
ACE has the right to change, limit, or modify program rules, regulations, awards, and point levels at
any time without notice. ACE has the right to end the program by providing six months’ prior written
notice to actively participating members. In the event of termination of the program, Rental Genius
awards must be redeemed within six months of the termination date or they will be forfeited.
